Nawei is an emerging Canadian artist born and raised in Singapore. Surrounded by art from a young age, she grew up immersed in both Eastern and Western traditions, which shaped her unique style.

She creates timeless depictions of mythological creatures and animals, weaving historical and symbolic narratives into each work. Known for bold gestural strokes, balanced with delicate details, Nawei paints primarily with Chinese ink and acrylic on rice paper or Linen.

Nawei has done brand collaborations, such as the most recent “Shanghai Tang - Drift & Reign” Limited-edition collection, and her art has been featured in numerous magazine articles, including PIN Prestige and ICON magazine. Her paintings, often featuring auspicious animals and her signature dragon, fuse ancient philosophies with contemporary sensibilities, inviting viewers to experience vitality and story in every piece.
